New York allows what is called a Hardship License. When a person is charged with VTL 1192.2 they may be eligible for a conditional license 30 days after the arrest. This measns that for 30 days, the person may NOT drive anywhere in New York State. This can create a sever problem for those who rely on a car to get them to and from wor. This is called a hardship license. However, because of the great amount of public transportation in New York City, these hardship licenses are very hard to obtain.

A hearing must be conducted in from of a judge to ask for a hardship license. The law requires very specific proof that must be presented to the Court. If your license has been suspended and you are in need of a hardship license, contact The Law Offices of Michael S. Discioarro, LLC at 917-519-8417 and let us put our experience to work for you.
